We got Married!
Katy and I got engaged last year in British Columbia, at Revelstoke, on our 5-year anniversary.
One year to the day, on our 6 year anniversary, we tied the knot in Leavenworth, WA, surrounded by some of our closest friends and family. It awesome.
Ely being a gentleman. Part of his wedding-day obligations.
Tying knots and dips — that’s what getting married is all about right?
And as an added bonus, we only have one anniversary we have to remember! (Katy cares less about this fact than I.)
Matt Shumate was our photographer and has some more awesome photos on his site.
We spent the following week back in British Columbia, shredding our faces off in Big White, Silverstar, and Revelstoke (where we got engaged). We had an epic pow-day at Revelstoke, including getting first dibs on rope-dropped goodness. Awesome.
Some photos:
Osoyoos pano. Beautiful entrance to BC.
There was still goodness to be found at Big White. Ely found a fun line down these chutes on the backside, through the center chute here. You can also see where we wiped out when trying to slow down past the landing.

Cheesing at Silverstar. Katy’s smiling, i think.
Sicamous Grub. Tasted as good as it looked. I felt as bad afterwords as it looks. Yes. That’s a burger between two grilled-cheeses.
Revelstoke stoke. Steep and powdery.

On our last day at Revy, the sun finally came out!

mmm — powder. They had just opened this terrain. We gobbled it up!
