Another Vantage Weekend
Back for more running and climbing! This time with a ton of friends in tow as well.
– Drove in Friday night and started setting up our huge basecamp.,
– Saturday morning ran a solid 19 mile loop all around the area. Only got lost once! Nearly ran out of water, but luckily finished our run just before we were completely out. Refueled with beer during lunch.
– Brad, Brittany, Christian, Meredith, Jarrod, Kyle, and a bunch of others all showed up while we were running. We knocked off pretty much every route I’ve wanted to climb at Feathers in the afternoon, including Hardening Of The Arteries. Only real routes to tick off are the classics on Satan’s Pillar. Next time!
– Finally got do some night-climbing! Did some laps on Don Coyote under headlamp. It was awesome!
– Sunday Morning, we woke up early and warmed up on Vantage Point, Stick’em or Clip Em, and as well as a bunch of fun routes over on Kotick Memorial Wall.
